Day 1: HCMC - Can Tho (L)

Description

Having been picked up in HCMC and driven to Can Tho, you can enjoy a 4-hour boat trip and row boat trip down the small canals to visit A Binh Island. You can take a short walk around the village to discover the local culture. You will visit some local workshops, a coconut factory and an ancient house. Lunch will be served at a local garden restaurant. Your boat trip will continue to Vinh Long, and then you will drive to Can Tho arriving there in the mid afternoon. You will then have free time wander around Can Tho where you will stay overnight.

Day 2: Cai Rang - HCMC (B/L)

Description

After breakfast at the hotel, you will take a motor boat to visit Cai Rang – a fascinating floating market where you can see the trading boats piled high with fresh produce. After exploring the floating market, you will continue your voyage to fruit garden where you can walk around to see the colourful local life. You will visit Binh Thuy Ancient House which was chosen as one of the recording sites for the romantic film L’ Amant ( The Lover) of producer J. Annaud. After, you will head back to HCMC, stopping for lunch along the way.
